If you google “home inspector” you inevitably find advertisements reading “Become a Home Inspector online” telling that you too can become a home inspector for a low low price from the comfort of your own home!
Which begs the question, if these classes are so prevalent, how prevalent are home inspectors wanting to inspect your home based on nothing more than some online courses?
At IM Home Inspections, rest assured I am not just someone who took some cheap online classes. I was trained in the class room and in field at actual houses by top instructors from the American Society of Home Inspectors.
In addition, I am certified by the International Association of Certified Home Inspectors, the Largest Professional Inspector Organization. In order to be certified, I had to pass several tests, and commit to a regular schedule of continuing education.

When hiring a Home Inspector, make sure they are more than someone who just learned about inspecting from a cheap online class.
