Matt Sterkel serves as our Service Manager and Senior Inspector, playing a key leadership role in maintaining the high standards that define IM Home Inspections. With over five years of experience, a Bachelor’s Degree in Mathematics, and a background in education and construction, Matt brings precision, clear communication, and practical expertise to every inspection. He is also a Certified Commercial Inspector (CCPIA-002755), trusted to handle everything from luxury homes to complex commercial properties with the same commitment to quality and care.

Raised in Santa Clarita, CA and the son of a general contractor, Juan built a strong foundation working across every stage of residential construction before joining IM Home Inspections. Today, with over three years on our team and consistently top-rated feedback, Juan delivers detailed, accessible inspections that clients trust. He is also fluent in Spanish, ensuring every client feels informed and supported throughout the process.

Matt Estey brings a calm, steady approach to every inspection he performs. Originally joining IM Home Inspections part-time, Matt’s sharp attention to detail, commitment to learning, and even-keeled demeanor quickly earned him a full-time role and professional certification. His ability to keep inspections clear, focused, and low-stress is a major asset for both home buyers and real estate agents alike. Matt Estey grew up and resides in Santa Clarita.

Grigor brings a sharp eye and a strong technical background to every inspection. Before joining IM Home Inspections, he worked in solar installation, as well as in roofing, giving him a deep understanding of roofing and electrical systems. She’s also worn many professional hats, from notary to loan signing agent, giving her a sharp eye for detail and organization.
